Description

This condensed certificate program equips accountants with strong foundations to handle a variety of common accounting tasks. We will go through a few diverse hands-on projects such as financial reporting and budget management tasks, without any extra paid add-ons. By the end of the course, you can expect to have solid understanding how Power BI works. Even better, you will walk away with tangible projects that you have built, either to demonstrate your skills or to reference later. We will also cover best practices for data visualizations and dashboard design, which are critical to communication effectiveness, but also are easily overlooked. This course is beginner-friendly and lab-style. It starts with basics and quickly rises to intermediate/advanced techniques to focus on real world applications.

Prerequisite(s)

No previous knowledge about Power BI required. This is beginner friendly session.

To get the most out of this session, you should have a few years of experience using Microsoft Excel. You should be comfortable with concepts like Pivot Tables, lookups, and basic functions such as SUM and SUMIFS.
